Apple Porridge Recipe - Fortijuce Apple
Ingredients
- 40g / 1½ oz porridge oats
- 110ml / 4fl oz whole milk
- ½ (100ml) bottle Apple Fortijuce
- 2 tbsp cream or Greek style yoghurt
- 2 tbsp stewed apple or apple purée or 1 (150g)
- Fortisip Fruit Dessert Apple
- Raisins to decorate
- Place porridge oats and milk in a medium sized saucepan.
- Heat gently for 1 minute, stirring constantly to make a thick paste.
- Stir in the Fortijuce, a little at a time to make a smooth porridge. Bring to simmering point and remove from heat immediately.
- Place porridge in a bowl, stir in cream or yoghurt and top with stewed apple and raisins if desired.

Notes
- Serves 1.
- 1 spoonful of cream adds approx 50kcal.
- Increase by 200kcal and 10.5g protein if using Fortisip Fruit Dessert.
