Resource Thickened Drink Apple Fruit ( 12 x 114ml)

Resource® Thickened Drinks are ready to use, single serve, thickened, f lavoured drinks for the dietary management of patients with dysphagia (swallowing difficulties). They are Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision.

114ml cups IDDSI Level 3 Available in Orange and Apple flavours; 114ml cups, 12 cups per case

INDICATIONS

ACBS approved, prescribable on FP10 (GP10 in Scotland) for patients requiring thickened fluids for the management of dysphagia due to conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, muscular dystrophy, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, neurological disorders caused by injury or disease, and malignancies of the oral cavity and throat.

ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE

Evaluated IDDSI level is based on Flow Test measurement conducted at 20°C. It is the responsibility of the person administering Resource® Thickened Drink to ensure that the prepared product is of appropriate consistency.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

12 months from date of manufacture. Store unopened in a cool, dry place. Once opened, store in a refrigerator and consume within 24 hours.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Unsuitable for patients with galactosaemia.

PRECAUTIONS

Suitable for children above 3 years of age. Unsuitable as a sole source of nutrition. Must be used under medical supervision. For oral use only.
