Nutrison Protein Shot is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. Nutrison Protein Shot is a ready to use, high protein (11g/40ml pot, 97% of energy from protein) liquid for the dietary management of disease related malnutrition in patients with increased protein requirements. Nutrison Protein Shot is available in 6 x 40ml (240ml) cluster packs.

For enteral use only. ACBS approved, prescribable on form FP10 (GP10 in Scotland) for the following indications: For the dietary management of hypoproteinaemia.


Contra-Indications

Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. Not suitable for children under 3 years of age.

Must be used under medical supervision. Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. For enteral tube feeding use only. Not recommended for children under 3 years of age.

Preparation and Directions for Usage

Shake well before use. Use immediately once opened. Always discard unused product. Single pots are not for individual sale. Keep the cluster packaging for product information.

Shelf Life

12 months. Best before date: see top of cluster packaging.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place (5-25°C).
