Foodlink Complete with Fibre is a high-protein powder supplement Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. Foodlink Complete with Fibre is an oral nutritional supplement containing approximately 420kcals, 19.5g protein and 4.5g Fibre when prepared with 200ml whole milk.
Uses
Can be used for the dietary management of patients with increased nutritional requirements secondary to illness or those patients unable to meet their nutritional requirements from other foods. It may also be used by those at risk of disease related malnutrition as determined by appropriate nutritional screening. Foodlink Complete with Fibre is designed to supplement a patient’s dietary intake and is not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. ACBS and GMS approved.
Contraindications
Not suitable for children under 3 years. Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia or an intolerance to soya or milk.
Precautions
Use of this product in children under 6 years should be closely monitored by a dietitian or physician.
Directions for use:
• Add 50ml of milk/water to a glass and one 63g sachet of Foodlink Complete with Fibre and then mix into a smooth paste with a fork or whisk.
• Top up with another 150ml liquid whilst continuing to mix.
• Serve when fully mixed.
• Alternatively if using a Nualtra shaker – Add 200ml milk/water to the shaker along with 63g sachet, close lid and shake vigorously until powder is dissolved.
Shelf Life
24 months from date of manufacture. See individual sachet and outer packaging for best before date.
Storage
Foodlink Complete with Fibre should be stored in a cool, dry place. Foodlink Complete with Fibre can be consumed chilled, at room temperature or gently heated. Once reconstituted consume within 2 hours or store in a refrigerator and consume within 24hrs. Discard unused contents thereafter.
