Lorenzo's ALD and AMN Oil (500ml):@@: Lorenzos Oil - Nutricia new Lorenzo's ALD & AMN Oil (500ml) (3 DAY DELIVERY) Lorenzo’s Oil is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. Lorenzo’s Oil is a blend of four parts Glycerol Trioleate (GTO) and one part Glycerol Trierucate (GTE) oils. For use in children and adults for the dietary management of Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD) and Adrenomyeloneuropathy (AMN). Lorenzo’s Oil is usually given in conjunction with a low fat diet restricting hexacosanoic acid (C26:0) and may be taken on its own or mixed with permitted foods. Due to the restricted nature of the diet, it may be necessary to supplement the diet with a source of essential fatty acids such as walnut oil.
