Indications and Prescribability
Liquigen may be used in conditions requiring high energy where fat absorption is impaired and where a high MCT intake is indicated. Liquigen can be used as part of the MCT ketogenic diet. Liquigen can be used to fortify a wide variety of drinks and foods and is also useful as an energy enhancer in tube and sip feeds. Liquigen is suitable for us from birth.
Precautions
Use under medical supervision. Not for parenteral use. Not suitable for use as a sole source of nutrition, unless indicated in the product description. Flavouring is not recommended for infants less than six months.
Preparation & Administration
Liquigen can be used straight from the bottle or as a milk substitute and can easily be flavoured eg. milkshake syrups. Liquigen may require dilution for children under 5 years of age. Shake well before use.
Product Storage
Liquigen can be stored at room temperature. Once opened, replace container lid after use and store in a refrigerator and use within 14 days. Discard unfinished feeds a maximum of 1 hour after being taken from the refrigerator.
