HyFIBER is a water thin, liquid high fibre supplement with fructooligosaccharides (FOS) that contains 12g soluble fibre in each 30ml serving. Designed for the dietary management of bowel transit disorders and presented in a mild citrus flavour, HyFIBER is ready-to-use and can be administered via an enteral feeding tube, or taken orally.
Doasage
It is recommended that the addition of HyFIBER to the diet should be gradually increased to meet individual requirements. Start with 30ml per day for one week, increase to 60ml a day in split doses if required. Bowel medication may need to be adjusted as the dose of HyFIBER is increased.
Precautions
Must be used under strict medical supervision. For oral or enteral use only. Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. Not recommended for children under 3 years of age.

Shelf Life & Storage
HyFIBER has a shelf life of 24 months from date of manufacture. Store unopened at room temperature (not exceeding 25oC). Use immediately once opened.

What flavours are available and how should you use it?
- HyFiber is available in a mild citrus flavour. It is ready to use and can be consumed orally straight from the sachet, or mixed into other foods, drinks or supplements if necessary. HyFiber can be administered via an enteral feeding tube if you are receiving your nutrition in this way.
How should HyFiber be stored?
- You should store HyFiber at room temperature (not exceeding 25oC). There is no need to refrigerate HyFiber other than for taste preference prior to consuming.
How long does HyFiber keep for?
- HyFiber has a shelf life of 24 months when unopened. You can locate the “use-by” date at the bottom of the sachet.
Can HyFiber be mixed with hot food and drinks?
- Hyfiber can be added directly into hot food and drinks, such as Juice or fruit tea. The product is also suitable to use when cooking.
Can I freeze HyFiber?
- HyFiber can be mixed with water or fruit juice and frozen in iced lolly moulds or frozen neat in ice cube trays to make a refreshing alternative.
Do you have to drink HyFiber in one sitting?
- Once a sachet is open, you should consume the product straight away. There is no need to refrigerate HyFiber.
Does HyFiber contain lactose or gluten?
- HyFiber is lactose and gluten free and is suitable for individuals that may have an allergic reaction to either. HyFiber is also milk free.

- Yes, HyFiber is free from nuts and nut oils.
How much HyFiber should I drink?
- The volume of sachets required on a daily basis will be determined by your individual fibre requirements. If you are unsure of what these may be, we recommend that you visit your GP or Registered Dietitian.
