Actagain 2.0 is a Food for Special Medical Purposes. Actagain 2.0 is a nutritionally complete, 2.0 kcal/ml, ready-to-drink milkshake style supplement, with added sweeteners, designed for the dietary management of disease-related malnutrition.
PRESENTATION
Actagain 2.0 is presented 200ml TetraPaks. Actagain 2.0 is available in 6 flavours: (Golden Apricot, Neutral, Smooth Vanilla, Berry Medley, Café Latte, Dulce de leche). It is also available in a Starter Pack containing 6 x 200ml TetraPaks.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
ACBS approved, prescribable on form FP10 (GP10 in Scotland) for the following indications: short-bowel syndrome, intractable malabsorption, pre-operative preparation of undernourished patients, inflammatory bowel disease, total gastrectomy, bowel fistulae, and disease-related malnutrition.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
• Shake well before use.
• Can be served chilled but may also be served at room temperature.
• Once opened, consume immediately or refrigerate and use within 24 hours
All flavours of Actagain 2.0 are gluten free
SUGGESTED INTAKE
1-2 servings a day unless otherwise indicated by the clinician or dietitian.
