Crème Brulee (serves 4) – Ensure TwoCal Vanilla
Ingredients:
- 1½ packs of Ensure® TwoCal vanilla (300ml)
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 4 teaspoons of sugar (for topping)
Method:
- Preheat oven to 150°C / 300°F / Gas Mark 2
- In a medium bowl, whisk eggs and 2 tablespoons of sugar together until smooth
- Using a wooden spatula, fold Ensure® TwoCal and vanilla extract into the egg mixture
- Pour mixture into 4 ramekins or cups
- Place ramekins in a ovenproof dish and pour water into the dish until the water is halfway up the side of the ramekins
- Bake in the oven for 40-50 minutes or until the brulee ‘wiggles’ slightly
- Remove the ramekins from the water and refrigerate until chilled
- When ready to serve, sprinkle 1 teaspoon of sugar on the top of each ramekin
- Place ramekin under the grill until the sugar caramelises and becomes light brown
- 10. Serve
