Crème Brulee (serves 4) – Ensure TwoCal Vanilla


  • 1½ packs of Ensure® TwoCal vanilla (300ml)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 4 teaspoons of sugar (for topping)


  • Preheat oven to 150°C / 300°F / Gas Mark 2
  • In a medium bowl, whisk eggs and 2 tablespoons of sugar together until smooth
  • Using a wooden spatula, fold Ensure® TwoCal and vanilla extract into the egg mixture
  • Pour mixture into 4 ramekins or cups
  • Place ramekins in a ovenproof dish and pour water into the dish until the water is halfway up the side of the ramekins
  • Bake in the oven for 40-50 minutes or until the brulee ‘wiggles’ slightly
  • Remove the ramekins from the water and refrigerate until chilled
  • When ready to serve, sprinkle 1 teaspoon of sugar on the top of each ramekin
  • Place ramekin under the grill until the sugar caramelises and becomes light brown
  • 10.    Serve

  • Garnish with fresh raspberries
