ProSource TF is a high protein, very low carbohydrate supplement that enables you to increase the protein intake of patients being enterally tube fed without increasing their carbohydrates or volume; or changing their required enteral feed.
Each 45ml sachet of ProSource TF contains 11g protein and only 1g carbohydrates making it ideal when you need to alter the ratio of protein to carbohydrates that are being delivered by their required enteral feed.
ProSource TF has the consistency of water – meaning that you can administer it using a standard enteral syringe into the patient’s feeding tube without any risk of tube blockage.*
The protein source used inProSource TF is hydrolysed collagen, which is easily broken down to yield free amino acids and peptides – more readily absorbed into the gastrointestinal tract. ProSource TF contains all essential and non-essential amino acids.
*Note: We always recommend flushing the patient’s feeding tube with water pre and post administration of ProSource TF.

How should ProSource TF be used?
- ProSource TF is designed for tube feeding use. Whilst we do not recommend consuming the product orally, it can be taken this way if required.
How should ProSource TF be stored?
- You should store ProSource TF at room temperature (not exceeding 25oC).
How long does ProSource TF keep for?
- ProSource TF is has a shelf life of 18 months when unopened. You can locate the “use-by” date at the bottom of the sachet.
Can ProSource TF be taken orally?
- ProSource TF is not recommended as an oral supplement. If you require an oral protein supplement, ProSource Plus may be a more suitable choice.
Does ProSource TF contain lactose, gluten or milk?
- ProSource Plus is lactose and gluten free. It is suitable for individuals that may have an allergic reaction to either. ProSource TF is also milk free.
Is ProSource TF free from nuts and nut oils?
- Yes, ProSource TF is free from nuts and nut oils.
How much ProSource TF should I use?
- The volume of sachets required on a daily basis will be determined by your individual protein requirements. If you are unsure of what these may be, we recommend that you visit your GP or Registered Dietitian.
