Loprofin Drink is a Foods for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. Loprofin Drink is a low protein drink, based on cows milk extracts. For use in the dietary management of inherited metabolic disorders and other conditions requiring a low protein diet.
Indications
For use in the dietary management of inherited metabolic disorders, renal or liver failure requiring a low protein diet. A food for special medical purposes.
Precautions
Use under medical supervision. Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. Not for parenteral use. Not suitable for children under 1 year. Not suitable for milk free, or lactose free diets.
Preparation and directions for usage
The recommended intake of Low Protein drink is dependant on the age, bodyweight and medical condition of the patient.
Shelf Life & Storage
11 moths / Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Once opened, store in refrigerator and consume within 24 hours. (3-4 days for Loprofin Drink)
