Creamy Mushroom Soup Recipe – Fortisip Neutral or Fortisip Multi Fibre Chicken

Ingredients

  • 5-6 button mushrooms – finely chopped
  • 25g / 1oz butter
  • 110ml / 4 fl oz whole milk
  • 1 packet (35g) of instant mushroom soup
  • 1 (200ml) bottle Neutral Fortisip or Chicken Fortisip Multi Fibre

Method / Preperation

  • 1. Gently fry mushrooms in butter until softened.
  • Add milk and heat gently – do not boil.
  • Stir in mushroom soup powder until smooth. Add Neutral Fortisip, warm to serving temperature but do not boil.
  • Serve topped with a spoonful of cream for extra calories.
  • Notes

    • 1 spoonful of cream adds approx 50kcals
