Banana Honey Porridge – Fortisip / Fortisip Compact Vanilla

Ingredients

  • 40g / 1½ oz porridge oats
  • 75ml / 3fl oz whole milk
  • 125ml Neutral or Vanilla Fortisip or 1 (125ml) bottle Fortisip Compact

To Serve

  • 1-2 tbsp runny honey
  • 1 small banana mashed to a purée with a fork
  • 1-2 tsp sugar

Method / Preparation

  • Place porridge oats and milk in a medium sized saucepan.
  • Heat gently for 1 minute, stirring constantly to make a thick paste.
  • Stir in the Fortisip, a little at a time to make a smooth porridge. Bring to simmering point and remove from heat immediately.
  • Place porridge in a bowl, stir in honey and banana and top with a sprinkling of sugar.
