Fortisip Compact Fibre Starter Pack 4 x 125ml 4 x Assorted flavours, Mocha, Vanilla & Strawberry.
Fortisip Compact Fibre is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. Fortisip Compact Fibre is a nutritionally complete, 2.4kcal/ml, ready to drink, milk shake style nutritional supplement, containing 4.5g fibre?per bottle, for the dietary management of disease related malnutrition. Fortisip Compact Fibre can be used to supplement the diet of patients unable to meet their nutritional requirements from other foods.
Shelf life: 12 months. Best before date: see side of bottle.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place (5-25°C). Shake well before use. Once opened, close the bottle and store in a refrigerator for a maximum of 24 hours.
Suitability: This product may be suitable for a Kosher or Halal diet, however at this point it does not have Kosher approval or Halal certification.
Preparation: Fortisip Compact Fibre is ready to drink and best served chilled. Shake well before opening. Recommended dose is 2 bottles per day, unless specified by a clinician or dietitian.

Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. Monitor fluid intake to ensure adequate hydration status.
Indications: For enteral use only. ACBS approved, prescribable on form FP10 (GP10 in Scotland) for the following indications: short bowel syndrome; intractable malabsorption; pre-operative preparation of undernourished patients; inflammatory bowel disease; total gastrectomy; dysphagia; bowel fistulae; disease related malnutrition.
Contra-indications: Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia. Not suitable for patients requiring a fibre free diet.
